I'm thinking it's quite possible that this has been the longest stretch of "ideal weather" ever.

Going to be a shock to the system when we finally do get some crappy weather. 867 days in a row of gorgeous weather will do that.

Didn't go out to check the gauge but can't be more than .10". Had a brief heavy downpour and then a period of light rain for about 30 min. Will confirm total in the morning.

Mostly light rain here but had a couple moderate showers. 0.11" so far. Not great, but more than I thought we'd get when I looked at the models and radar around midday. Still a few more small downpours to our southeast, so hopefully we'll add to it over the next hour or two.

when will a real patter change happen to a prolonged stretch of cooler 50's type weather....

Still some light rain, but received nearly 2.85 inches! Boy, did the HRRR bust!!!! Most rain since early July in my part of the DMV.

I'm just glad it will be after the sun goes down, I'm going to pick up food in about an hour.

Most of the pws’s surrounding me are showing 2”+ totals. Premium event here. Nice segue into the upcoming pattern.
