  1. Past hour
  2. Flakes still small, but starting to get that "pouring snow" look
  3. Lived in Fort Lauderdale for 30 years, windchills in the 20s one time. This map if close would be epic for SE Florida, we would have dead iguanas instead of just falling.
  4. Euro has joined the chat with a signal...
  5. Lol sorry I meant the Hudson. And I know it won’t freeze all the way across, but I do remember seeing some decent icebergs on it during the second halves of the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 winters.
  6. It hath started here. Small dandruff-looking flakes at the moment Sticking to everything right away
  7. A little dusting here in Purcellville.. Like not much of anything. I have seen bands to my north and south.. Kind of disappointing.. Just a little dusting so far.
  8. As I sit here at the very beginning of this storm and I’m looking out at the first flakes falling. I started to think about the past week for this group. We started outside the path and moved in. We watched a weeks worth of models and we found our maps covered in 15+ inches of snow on it. This has been fun. What a time to be alive. Let’s bring this one home .
  9. Surprised no one posted this earlier, CTP bumped up amounts areawide. My point and click is up to 13-21 inches now.
  10. The multiple meso-lows of earlier tonight have sort of morphed into a main one now, which is attempting to back towards MKE.
  11. pending the final result, it doesn't feel like a rug pull to me. Maybe in Feb or March we'll get a stronger STJ and get something that's modeled better.
  12. Watching the temp/DP come together at 13 degrees is much more fun than 34.
  13. Does now look like NE side of ATL metro will get hit hard. Didn’t think they’d do it a few hours ago but even think down to the airport now makes 31-32 by 4-5am but those areas may benefit from the dryslot more once they are under the threshold
  14. What sux as I look at the Euro snowfall map is how so very close we came to an area wide 15-20" event. These chances are so few and far between, and to come so close leaves a bad taste in my mouth despite it being a decent event, for which I'm not complaining.
  15. If there is a moisture slug overnight, we might hit that 0.5-0.75 dreaded ice mark around here
