  2. Living near the N Atl is just brutal . Some folks don’t have a choice. But if they do., get away from that thing
  3. Wow! I thought it was dry here. That's brutal
  4. Looking pretty shitty for the next three weeks. Mid-May through the end of the month looks better but it’s a pattern change overnight with little support lol so…
  5. Dam that place blows. 70 here today..gorgeous.
  6. Nice Steining tonight on models from HFD East.
  7. ...no one person in particular mind you ... lol I just have a cataclysmic sense, like it is pending, global in scale - there are ...unnerving things going on that interestingly enough, no one in here talks about. interesting. closed circuit for a social media depot, I'll tell you that.
  8. Rooting for some interesting weather somewhere in this area. Been such a bore lately.
  9. Those same cells (weakening ofc as they move out of the best thermodynamic environment into the wedge) are approaching UVA and Tech (though further SW like Tech got clearing and now has 1000+ SBCAPE) so will be interesting to see if they can at least hold together enough/become elevated and drop good rain and thunder. Charlottesville itself has gotten split the whole past week and needs a good downpour.
  10. Didnt even crack 50f today. Make it stop!! Please! Been running an average of 10+ degrees below normal recently
  11. After rain earlier in the week and some today I had a hunch my rain gauge was clogged up a bit. Sure enough, bird "leftovers" clogging the hole.
  12. Moderate rain in Vienna! Hasn't rained that hard here since April 5.
  13. Days with cool temps usually don't do much severe wx wise in the area. This is 3x this season where they had risk with 50s and 60s and it amounted to nothing.
  14. I’ll be 109 and I expect an invite. Until that time, as always ……
  15. My point is this storm deserved a Tornado warning at some point in its lifespan.
  16. Was it July 2018 where we got 18"? One of those July's, I remember it raining like crazy Over the years our thunderstorm season has shifted from the Spring to late June and July.
  17. 3 in. + hailstones appear to be ongoing in the elevated supercell with a very notable and large hail core on radar (sfc temp around 60 F), in Athens vicinity in NTX.
  18. What would you say is the chance of a continued El Nino in 27-28? 5%? 10%? I would say 5-10%
  19. Today
  20. I’ll turn 110 that year in December. Big party planning in the works!
