  1. Past hour
  2. The more juicy parameters, are hugging, the mason dixon line, and have been struggling to advect north and west throughout the day. That said, I think storm motions could help bring some of that better instability into our area and it feels to me like we should be building some of our own homegrown instability as I write this. That said we we're slightly capped at last glance.
  3. Brief shower knocked it down to 68 here. Models don't have much rain later now.
  4. oh, interesting. Yeah that is cool when that happens. I'm not in the BD aspect - yet.. but it's in the mail. We're synoptically cooling the last 3 hours or so here, but it's reasonable at the moment. Ha, you know the spring has no interest in actually happening when we're getting flogged by a double-sided marital aid -
  5. 78 here. Lots of clouds though which is keeping it under 80.
  6. Hmmm, some boundaries appear to be draped W-E across Reston. Other boundaries are from the Potomac moving west. Could see something interesting things happen.
  7. Bring the 50s with lows in 30s next week and fair weather. Early Spring should feel more like Fall. Too soon for 80s.
  8. not liking this weather i actually had to wear my hoodie opened today it was 70 when i went out this morning that is the normal low for the end of july.i saw many people wearing just shirts..
  9. There’s a synoptic CF and a BD all on radar easily seen on velocity. Pretty cool.
  10. Was upper 50’s to near 60 overnight here…so we had a big launching pad. Was 79 at noon here. Huge shower torrential downpour came through…down to 69 now and dropping.
  11. not that anyone cares if this is clarified but this isn't a bd front. it's a side/N front, and the wind happens to go NNE to NE to E within 12 hours of that particular kind. the whole synoptics over this next 48 hours is moving incredibly fast, too. Big polar high passes by to the N and moves off in time to heat Friday back up... we literally are moving the dial 40+ from air mass type, not diurnal, as a result impressive
  12. Looks chilly mid-late next week. Temps near/below freezing Thursday AM?
  13. You may get a glimpse of it down there if you get a clear view to the S and SE.
  14. If you went to Italy and asked for Gabagoo, they’d slap you.
  15. Why not lol. Tomorrow will be top 10 worst days of year.
  16. Was just sitting outside enjoying the those few glorious peeks of sun and warmth and like clockwork, it’s like someone turned on a giant refrigerator and we tumble back down again. Gotta love the bipolarity of early spring in New England.
  17. Said it the other day, but I think “high-end” strong is going to be the floor with this event, with super prospects increasing @bluewave
  18. Barely a sea breeze today so it’s roasting here just inland. Warmest day so far this season. .
  19. You know the Cansips is always right
