  1. Past hour
  2. I was away in Provincetown for a week. It seems every time the models show the pattern changing to much cooler here they then back off of it some a run or two later. WX/PT
  3. Should be a hell of a wave maker if it gets to 74-75W
  4. Still no actual tornadoes in New England this year? did I miss one?
  5. 5 rain drops and living in a tropical rain forest tonight.
  6. Disappointment at BDL this afternoon, 89'd and the storms crapped out as they moved over us
  7. Going solar at 41-42 N? Probly should head back down to NC for that
  8. Did anyone's gutters get overwhelmed? I just fixed a pitching issue about a week ago and this is the first time it has rained since and today the rain overflowed and went right over the edge of the gutter. It overflowed in an area where the roof, when looking at it from the front, is two triangles side to side with a dip in the middle. Where the dip is the water flows forward like a river toward the street facing gutter. Now I'm wondering if the rain was just too much for any gutter to handle or if I still have a problem.
  9. I am only a few miles away from you and got only, but a much needed, 0.98”. The airport got only 0.40. Thunderstorms always amaze me.
  10. Yeah this is as dry as it gets around here to be honest. First measurable in August I think.
  11. Today
  12. .82" yesterday and .47" today. Dew currently at 79. High of an awful 88.1 at 6:30pm.
  13. Looks like 2.02" will do it here, 71F
  14. Again, with -ENSO (persistent +SOI), -PDO, -H5 over the Arctic during the Summer, I'm liking a blend of the last 5 Winters (20-21 to 24-25). We should at least get some cold shots, I don't think it will be a wall-to-wall warm Winter, like 97-98/01-02 or anything like that. 22-23 had some -EPO/-NAO patterns in Dec and March that didn't deliver, I'd take my chances with the same upper latitude pattern.

  17. Glad for you guys, it was quite dry up top yesterday, def. needed it
  18. I agree likely already close to hurricane strength. Follows crossing over the 26 isotherm perfectly. And it only ramps up quickly to 29c from here.
