  1. Past hour
  2. 84F an humid in ECT, earlier showers missed to the north here.
  3. Ready to rock in a couple hours? Atmosphere heating up quickly
  4. Late week here looks gross. Breezy, rain and temps (maybe) in the low 50s - for the high. Wouldn't be surprised to see some wet snowflakes on the WV ridges at night. Windy today with a gust around 2 PM clocking in at 51 mph. Otherwise, beautiful day to get the grass cut which looks fantastic (if only it would stay this way).
  5. Wedged up here. Payback for my trolling yesterday.
  6. It looks like that. 50s and 60s next week.
  7. The reality is that it's likely a combination of regression and CC that is leading to this snowfall drought along the east coast. I think its patently absurd to ignore the regression element after what happened last decade.
  8. Something ironic and hypocritical about this.... I'm not sure how you can dispute that a warmer climate has more moisture available....if you want to argue that the warming will eventually become great enough where that won't matter in terms of snowfall, sure, but that doesn't seem like an entirely objective take. I agree with your last statement.....I think the current drought is attributable to both CC and natural variability....maybe more the former in the mid atlantic and the latter across southern New England.
  9. 100% https://x.com/contentwxguy/status/1923794923532214416?s=46&t=dhcbvkjmRcyBVQtDxJ3lRg
  10. The stuff up in Northern Vermont has been warned. Like they need more rain. I wonder if now that the clouds have finally cleared if we'll get anything to the south?
  11. Also, 4 day dance competitions should have open bars.
  12. Congrats Os fans, saw that Hyde was fired
  13. Today
  14. Sounds like another good soaking late Tuesday into Thursday... another 1-2"
  15. Finally the clouds have crawled east. The good news is this time of year you still have 5 hours of daylight left.
  16. Can we have todays weather next Saturday sheesh
  17. And he will be fired after this failure of a season.
  18. All of that you just mentioned? Those are all baseball operations. Elias is the president of baseball operations. We went through three decades of Angelos constantly meddling in those...and how did that turn out? Ownership shouldn't be making those decisions--the GM has to be allowed to do his job! And let's talk about those purse strings: As @WxUSAF just pointed out...Rubinstein increased the payroll by 70M. There are the purse strings--he enlarged them. Elias made the decisions on how to spend that money. Owner finances--owner let's GM makes decisions on how to spend it. That's the healthy way the hierarchy should work in any organization. What else is he supposed to do--especially since he just got here less than a year ago? This is ultimately on Elias.
  19. This time of year is when you can get weird stuff like Minneapolis being warmer than Paducah. The high sun angle this time of year can build warmth in the north with the right pattern. It doesn’t have to advect in like during the cold season. Then you get one of those classic May cut off lows that trap “cool” air with lots of clouds and rain to the south and you can get a couple weeks of warm north, cool south type weather. So while it isn’t common it’s also not really unheard of this time of year either.
  20. 14 fatalities so far in the Somerset/London area. I have a friend in the area and all the windows were blown out of their house and the roof lifted off, but they were unharmed.
