  1. Past hour
  2. Moderate slow in northwestern Queens. Visibility low. Everything covered, except heavily slated and traveled streets. But even they look they won’t stay wet long.
  3. I went to bed at midnight with you posting and woke up at 6 am with you posting. Did you sleep? [emoji23]
  4. 3" on ground. Pouring sleet now. 18F. Coastal front appears to be set up over on the lower eastern shore (coastal side), but moving a bit slower than forecasted.
  5. Waiting for daybreak to go clear ice off the unit outside, every time I turn it on it kicks into auxiliary mode but until then, this is what is keeping us warm brought us from 60° inside to 68° in the last 90 minutes. Man, I love a fire place.
  6. Absolute snow globe outside and expecting snow all day. Deep winter.
  7. not down here, I'd imagine so the further north you go. However, White Plains was 10/-7 at 5am and by 6am moderate snow.. Already 1"+ reports in North Jersey
  8. Absolutely beautiful out there. So bummed we're close to flipping but it's been very enjoyable.
  9. Current: anywhere between 28°-30° (different locations shooting different things dewpoint up to 27° solidly freezing rain accretion at a very decent pace this may be the push needed to knock it all out really praying it isn’t, but, prepared for this so we’re all good
  10. 6am National Park NJ Light and steady snow 3/4” accumulation Wind starting to pick up from the east northeast Temperature 14f
  11. The Snow Depth of Both the GFS AND the NAM give me 11”. What are you smoking? Even if it isn’t taint, it will be crappy non-accumulating snow. You guys can keep Bit**ing about my Bit**ing but How many of you got Text Messages from Harvey Leonard to text me about the storm? (Only for me to have to tell him the F-ing Atrocious News.) You people are taking about a widespread 12-18 with lollies to 24 like it’s a 1997 / 2005 / 2013 / 2015 System where Everyone was 20-30 with lollies to 36-40 which were ACTUALLY Historic. And even PDII, Sure it was only good from Me to Boston around here, but from NYC down there were 20” amounts all over. And you want to call ME the Baby? It’s a Great System. Yes, it’s absolutely Historic when talking Country Wide, a KU Monster (though no where NEAR 1993 or 1996 which had 20”+ all over and the widest swath of 30” totals ever seen, & 1993 giving 12” to 21 freaking states). But it is Not a Bomb with half the people on the board getting 24” which we’ll talk about 15 years from now like those other 4.
  12. You can pretty much bring 20+ almost right down to CT coast . 1.4-1.7 of all snow with high ratios.
  13. You're better to have show up than Jim Cantore. Hope you jackpot ! Going to melt some of this for a 7:00 report. Our better liquid should be later this morning after many in the forum are pinging.
  14. Two schools of thought. Putting them up makes everything easier to clean off and keeps them from sticking. On the other hand, it leaves them or your windshield vulnerable to damage if there are high winds. I've never really picked a side myself.
  15. Timmer is down there tweeting. This is going be massive down there
  16. i mean we're going to get crushed too, don't look at the models, the rain/snow line is way south and we're going to have heavy snow the next 12 hours!
  17. I haven't gone out to measure but looks like just under 4" and a heavy wintry mix. Bigger flakes vs heavy sleet. The snow and sleet are in a street fight basically.
