  1. Past hour
  2. No point. Just hoping this is the last stretch of hot and humid 90s. May the heat dome collapse.
  3. Hit 78 then went down from there whenever the rain hit.
  4. and the rest of the atmosphere primed and ready for another potential severe outbreak.......
  5. Today’s weather was primo imo, from a summer perspective. Also, 3 day weekends need to become normalized.
  6. Dewpoint inching up to 70 here, tomorrow looks like a steam bath low-mid 90s and DT in low 70s

  10. In a Giga-Niño? Yeah right...I mean we can dream, I guess lol
  11. its August 9th NOT September 9th = according to the Calendar The halfway point of summer was only a few days ago
  12. Looking at the precip map posted plus the stuff that’s fallen this week should still dent it a bit throughout the month.
  13. Yesterday
  14. Hopefully, this is Summer's last hurrah. Really tired of the relentless heatwaves.
  15. Maybe this Nino has a mind of it own,its still mind boggling to see the PDO so negative,it should be the oppostite right now.maybe that will change in the couple months ahead Tn Valley in a typical strong NINO is dry unlike the 2015-16 Nino that was in a west based and central NINO unlike this year.We just as well we are in a WQBO and should stay that way this winter
  16. Picked up .82 inches from today’s storm. Puts us at 4.69” for August. .
  17. Hit 91 for a high today after a 72 low and it's currently 85 with the dp finally out of the mid-upper 70s and sitting at 70. As a precip note, I only got 0.04" out of that storm that came through yesterday as most of us watched it disintegrate as it moved east, north of I-76. For the first week of August though, I actually have 4.42" of rain.

  19. Nice ! It certainly got windy here... Looks like Draft got a hell of a sucker punch earlier.. Just looked at my numbers - I have received 4.19 total since May 29th... One quick drive through town up here looking at the lawns clearly shows the lack of rain until you get to the foot of Afton then it's a different world....
  20. Watch it be a record breaker. 450" season right on snow camp or bust. Barns Corner is going to have a hot hand this season. LFG! I still can't believe Barnes Corner is going to be my home for the winter. I'm looking forward to documenting the beautiful relationship between Lake Ontario and the Tug Hill. These LES bands are beautiful when they are streaming across the lake.
  21. If we can get any cold air, those images would verify imo this winter
  22. We had a storm roll thru between 4:30 and 5 pm, about 1/3" of rain and some small hail, and a 27 mph gust. LOTS of thunder and lightning though.
