  4. The rapid onset of drought here in middle is concerning. Especially going into October. Drought with the leaves falling is a bad recipe. This year has been the year of extremes so far. Good grief. The climate is sure changing or Mother Nature is just po’d at humanity. I am over this endless summer. Give me long sleeves & sweatshirts! PLEASE!
  5. There's not a station in CT above 68* and your at 74*. Even newark is only 70*

  7. Hey Steve @Voyager hope you find a good medical answer for your issues. I know quite a few with it and they manage just dine so there is hope.
  8. Drying trend as we get closer…..we’ve never seen that before.
  9. Monday and Wednesday look dry to me. GFS has some rain for Tuesday, but is mainly dry for all the other days during the week. I'm still not convinced that we're gonna see much rain next week -- it could be a cloudy cool week with only a little rain. But we'll see. It's very questionable.
  10. What a season! It's September 19 and a new weak tropical depression near the Azores is getting all the hype.

  15. 62 for the low here and already up to 74 with some dews...
  16. Medium range models doing not so great. Getting dry again in these parts, with a steady decrease in soil moisture.
  17. Today
  18. Gfs now under .75” of rain as well. Yawn
  19. GFS has caved to the ECM no more rain all next week and it being like November
  20. Good agreement for a really fall-like day on Wednesday with temps potentially staying in the 50s.
  21. Much of this winter warmth will likely be driven by overnight lows IMO due to the active pattern.
  22. Haven't followed too closely, but looks like it's dependent on that coastal low. If we get these types of setups 3 months from now, then I'm gonna really start missing my jeep.
  23. Right now I’m leaning towards a fairly torchy winter with *maybe* 1 salvageable month on the back side where it’s just slightly above normal. Can’t really ignore that every analog that was supposed to give us below normal temps has busted warm thus far into mid september, and there’s no signs of October being cooler than normal yet.
