I don’t follow MLB at all, but my soon-to-be 98-year-old grandmother has been a die-hard Orioles fan all her life, watches every game, etc. She keeps hoping they’ll win one more world series in her lifetime. Skimming through the comments in here, I’m guessing that’s not happening anytime soon. 
 

I wanna try to get someone from the team to sign something for her when she turns 100 though.

True. He is pretty solid, but coming off a serious injury. Who knows what the timetable is, thus why the guy with no NFL experience is starting.

lol - I was there from 2008-2010 in grad school.  I did root for the Phillies in the 08 World Series because I wanted to party in the streets.  But I just can't do it - particularly since the Phillies have several of our old players.  I'm less of a diehard Commanders/Redskins fan, but I can't pull for the Iggles lol.
