I followed the major tornado that hit the area along Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin.  It moved north to south.  I just watched a really interesting video that was taken along the lake.   It looks like as the winds shifted from the east the lake rose several fee.  Watch the lake water level.  Was it just the wind?  Was it the rapid pressure rise?  I have never seen something like this.  Attached is the general area and direction. Thoughts?

 

Going with wind.

Have seen large ponds that looked “unlevel”, for a lack of a better term, on extremely windy days.

But I’m no scientist.

My brother lives in East Central Wisconsin and called a few minutes ago. A lot of people without power a lot of damage to the north of him. Also said that storms of this magnitude were really not in the forecast today; just hot and humid (his dew point topped out at 82 late this morning before the storms hit)...Just crazy! Meanwhile my parents are in Phoenix and the overnight low the other night was 97... the high there hit 117 on either Friday or Saturday, and since it is the monsoon season the dew points were in the mid to upper 60's. Unbearable, as my mom put it.

Dews peaked at 65F here today. It was definitely noticeable.  Just put on the ACs an hour ago to dry it out inside

No idea what you’re going on about. It was certainly COC here today with dews in the 50’s for AEMATT.  I don’t think anybody would argue today was in fact a perfect COC day for July standards. 
 

And the last 2 weeks have been similar. Low dews, cool nights, bright sun and breezy during the day. Couldn’t draw it up any better and the numbers prove it. Complete opposite of HHH

temps were in the 50s here when I got up, don't usually get dew points higher that the temp IMBY, dew point didn't hit 60 until about 11:00 am and it wasn't long after that the ACs were turned on

Same here. Dews have risen as the temps dropped. During peak temps today, dews were in the mid 50s. Currently 72/65 which feels great.
