Has anyone seen these before? They’re incredibly tiny orange big/insect…whatever. Sitting outside and feeling random spots of itchiness and I’ll see a super small orange looking thing and I’m guessing they bite or something because I’ll have a tiny red bite mark. No clue where they are coming from or what they are. They’re like those tiny red bugs that leave a blood dot but these are orange and even smaller.

The first 15 days of August 1988 were brutal in New England.  I think I had 13 of 15 days AOA 90 and the other two 89.  Then a strong cold front came through and the rest of the month avg slightly below for temps.

We lived in Gardiner from late October 1985 thru mid-May 1998.  August 1988 compared to averages for our 13 Augusts had 3 levels:
1-13:     74°   nearly 8° AN
14-18:   65°   average
19-31:   59°  3.5° BN

Modest temps compared to the real hot spots (instrument was within some pines), but impressive averages.

Nice day for business suits.

Up to 75F already from a low of 48F.

What a gorgeous day. Played 18 and then my wife and I cruised up Cold Hollow Cider Mill and looped back through Stowe and Morrisville for a late Sunday afternoon ride. Beautiful out.

Difficult to say without seeing a photo....Hopefully it is not a deer tick...

To be fair, DIT lost power for like a week in the October 2011 snowstorm and not once do I remember him complaining about it, ha.

8 days. It was awesome and something I look forward to again . Power outages are awesome . It’s why you always see me saying “ YES!!” Or congrats !! When folks post that they lost power. It’s legitimately a happy feeling
