Getting rocked here.  Legit scary.  CTG lightning and crashing thunder.  Torrential rains.  Winds gusting to est 60 mph.  Debris all over.  Power out.  Generator on.

The 60 mph winds missed me.  But the dog is an absolute mess from the thunder and we picked up 2/3" of rain.
I'm having to sit with the poor thing in our home office with music going.  And if they start shooting fireworks later at Lake Mohawk, I'm in for a long evening.
Hope you get your lights back on.  Good times.  Stay safe.

Been going for over 10 minutes with power flickering and its not even here yet

Can see on radar that the storms are weakening now as they're moving in. So hopefully that wind well ahead of the storm was the worst of it. And hopefully we get a decent amount of rain.

Might take a while to get the power back on over a holiday weekend.  Thankful for the generator.

Yeah, it's not looking good for Sussex County. Currently over 17K out per PowerOutage.us. I still have power, but it flickered a few times and I wouldn't be shocked if it gets shut off as they work to restore other areas.

All this wind but based on the way radar looks I'm gonna get very little rain. Almost comical.

I see this over piscataway.   Not much rain with it?  Im away but seemed to be the same looking at my rain gauge.

Barely raining here and can see mix of blue sky with darkclouds

Wind gusted 15 min ago but nothing crazy now

Thanks.  Looking at my cameras it looked pretty bright out.  I see my station recorded a gust of 33.  Could have used a nice downpour
