I really need to lose weight. My stomach is hanging over my pants.

I hate this warmth.  At least I can hide my stomach with a jacket.

Bro calm down. They’ll have more boston cream tomorrow.

Yeah this region despite being very warm in March was still shielded from the crazy +10 to +20 departures over 70 percent of the country.

It's going to take a Pac NW style summer ridge to wake people up. Unfortunately we need to see 110-120F temperatures over multiple days that will shut the grid down for people to get a clue.

110 isn't beyond my imagination - a NJ town reached that decades ago and EWR touched 108 in 2011.  (IMO, the recent EWR heat is due more to site than cc, though both contribute.)  120 seems like silly talk for the Northeast.  I've not researched the freaky 110+ highs in western Washington a couple years back, but I'd guess that both an anomalous hot land wind plus downsloping from the Olympics and Cascades were in play.  Land wind is already the prevailing direction here and downsloping can't compete with those western mountains.

Sun fighting but losing to the clouds, though it was bright enough to push temps near 50.  Still 2" at the stake but it's crying for momma.

Was just sitting outside enjoying the those few glorious peeks of sun and warmth and like clockwork, it’s like someone turned on a giant refrigerator and we tumble back down again. Gotta love the bipolarity of early spring in New England.

not that anyone cares if this is clarified but this isn't a bd front.

it's a side/N front, and the wind happens to go NNE to NE to E within 12 hours of that particular kind.

the whole synoptics over this next 48 hours is moving incredibly fast, too.  Big polar high passes by to the N and moves off in time to heat Friday back up...   we literally are moving the dial 40+ from air mass type, not diurnal, as a result

impressive

Why not lol. Tomorrow will be top 10 worst days of year.

Was upper 50’s to near 60 overnight here…so we had a big launching pad.  Was 79 at noon here.  Huge shower torrential downpour came through…down to 69 now and dropping.

There’s a synoptic CF and a BD all on radar easily seen on velocity. Pretty cool.

oh, interesting.  Yeah that is cool when that happens.  I'm not in the BD aspect - yet.. but it's in the mail.  We're synoptically cooling the last 3 hours or so here, but it's reasonable at the moment.

Ha, you know the spring has no interest in actually happening when we're getting flogged by a double-sided marital aid -
