March Madness

We did not have a stretch of significant warmth like this in March through early April that I can recall.

1-2 days sure, but not a 3 + day torch with continued AN after.

Really nice.

Local tree company agrees. Called to verify schedule cutting down a tree growing too close to my garage foundation on Tuesday….

I wish they'd waited a month. I was getting used to waking up in the light.

Yeah dark this morning, but for whatever reason I respond better to light later in the day.  I can do dark mornings, and half the week I’m up by 5am in the winter anyway… but big, big fan of being able to be outside in light between 5-7pm after work.

We need to find a way to stop the earth from tilting and just do a constant all year lol.

44F. Big hit overnight on the pack. Way too much fire wood leftover going into the warmup

I have the opposite here....I have run out this year, first time too. Oil furnace getting its first real workout in years. Need some sunny, warmer days to heat the house up. These cloudy, dreary days just dont cut it

And we won’t since it turns colder in about a week.

Of course. Easy to say. Staying up here is a terrible bet. Not sustainable.

That said, I think mid level troughiness on EPS and GEFS at that window is more bark than bite.

Looks like a move from ++AN to AN to N (behind fronts).

One thing that is very noticeable is the frost heaves (or whatever the opposite of those are called…thaw heaves) on the state highways around here.   Coming back from ORH last night the bumps on Rte 68 almost launched us

Not sure if you ever been to lake Dennison but that parking lot is destroyed now.. some spots dip down  over 2 feet never seen anything like it

Back in late Jan i didnt think we'd make it till march but we dont burn 24/7. Then we went away early feb for ski vacation and suddenly the excess is obvious. I hate having it in the garage all summer.
