Prismshine Productions
Days are getting longer, Spring arrives, and with it changes in the pattern. Will Winter maintain a troublesome grip, or will we melt out into Mud Season until November, only time will tell... Looking at the latest ENS for the CMCE, GEFS, and EPS tells that the regime switch is lurking (Canadian ensembles being the warmest), but as with the last couple of years there are outside chances of snow or frozen in the extended. SJonesWX
my uneducated opinion: March first half a little below normal for temps with a couple or three snow events. second half ushers in moderating temps. I know, going out on a limb here

Typhoon Tip
mentioned this in the Feb thread but it looks like the indices are buckin' for a pretty major step out of winter after the first week of the month. Before that happens, there is a signal between the 2nd and 5th. Could turn out to be the season's 'retirement party' ... If the season gets called out of retirement briefly during bowling season, notwithstanding. haha. I'm ready... lets melt and mud season.

Well snow depth? maybe...I have lived in this city all my life,,, we average I "think" 55-60", last year was about 42 1/4", year before around 32" +/- So far, pretty sure after today (2/23/2026) we have hit 55"+ based on my measurements , so , I happy with the season, although today we missed out on a big dog, but just having blowing/drifts etc. I enjoyed.
