Try closing this thread and opening two new ones.
1. (Observations )
2. (This thread part 2)

This would fix people posting in the wrong thread

I should open 3 more threads.  I remember when we used to have a pictures thread.

I also remember when the old mods used to close the thread after 30-35 pages and start a new one.

Remember like 6 hours ago when a lot of people jumped off the ledge?

It's here, and it's beautiful. Glad to have taken this ride with you all, now let's all enjoy! Snow has finally started sticking to roads here in Sayville, LI

As of 5 pm, we have 1.5" of new snow, so 1" the last hour and we're still at 31F. All roads now covered, as expected.

Folks - don't forget to go outside and enjoy this gift, as it's simply gorgeous out there now and about to go nuclear. If you need an excuse to get outside, do a measurement every hour and report back. Also, if you end up with several inches less than the NWS and others are predicting, don't whine - remember back to 3-4 days ago when we were worried about a whiff

I stop caring what the ceiling might have been once there is heavy snow flying and I'm outside in it. A good jebwalk cures everything.
