From my brief analysis the issue is that the H5 jumps east a bit which prevents the surface low from retrograding near Chesapeake and crushing us. Don't quite know why this happens but I'm not too worried about the specific outcomes till later this week. Was very close.

Yeah this seems like a detail that isn’t worth getting invested in too much yet. This was a way better progression for big snow chances, and other guidance isn’t totally cold to it so far at 12z. Biggest takeaway

that is exactly what happens...and yea not worried YET although for a long time now whatever can go wrong does go wrong
