Reporting from Currituck North Carolina I can tell you it's been nearly a blizzard for the last 90 minutes. Somewhere between 2 and 3 inches of snow. Impossible to measure since I'm on the sound and the winds are blasting. A very impressive system. 22/20. Heavy snow...

Snow is wrapping up at my house. Don’t know how much I got. It was a good bit. I could measure it but in the end it doesn’t matter.
What does matter is the memories made today. Eating homemade chili with my family while watching snowfall. Having snowball fights with my kids. Watching their bewilderment as the snow continued to accumulate.

Did I get as much snow here as some of the models predicted? No. Was it an amazing day I’ll always remember? Hell yes!

And that’s what matters my guy! Congrats!! Today was definitely a great day for us weens and a lot of us scored big, including myself! I was up at 4am and I overate today and now I’m exhausted and ready for a bomb ass sleep! Wins all around!!

I’ll just leave this here…. Wow! What a storm! Congrats to everyone who cashed in! This storm over performed for a ton of us, especially NE GA. 5” where I live. NC setting 100+ year records broke and still pouring over there! Congrats everyone!! We ate today!!

I-85 North in Cabbarus blocked.  So is 74/Wilkinson Blvd/Franklin in Gastonia.  I drove home from the hospital at 530.  I have 4wd truck, AT tires, and 500lb of sand in back and it was dicey.

I traded my 4wd Ford for a Tundra-Ford I would ~maybe feel comfortable driving in this with the all-terrains I use, but not in the 4wd Tundra...I drive in mud on my sites almost daily, which really isn't very different from driving on snow/ice (I have done a lot of that too)... that being said- you don't have to worry about other drivers on a muddy site....that is the real issue- should be emergencies only if you are on the roads tonight- not worth the risk

Pic is just another day at the office
