ineedsnow
that Bahama low weakened and got shunted east.. the low closer to the coast would take over and BOOM!

CoastalWx
Yeah I think NAM would be close to a slay here. But, NAM 1

Wxbear25
9 minutes ago, ineedsnow said: think it would of been even further west I mean, I tend to agree, but was just playing it conservatively. it looks like the NAM is much more efficient at “catching” the energy rotating around the ULL and throwing it northward rather than letting it escape eastward Question is, is this a situation where the NAM’s resolution may allow it to better handle that smaller-scale stuff? Maybe What I do know for sure is that it being at the end of its run does it no favor for its accuracy scores lol

All kidding aside won’t take much to get some coastal flood issues going regardless of the snow. I believe Scituate has a few tides at 10.5 or so this weekend.
SouthCoastMA
It also has that barbell low way out east, further east than 12z. Not sure what that ultimately means, extrapolated. Boob lows are fun.

Greg
Here the NAM doesn't allow the convection to rob the primary storms energy, not to mention the potential party pooper kicker low is held at bay (Slower) more into Canada. Also, the confluence here is weaker now. Therefore, in this type of solution the storm is allowed to come further north while bombing out.

ORH_wxman
Just keep amplifying that western ridge...lets drop the kicker s/w like due south so our storm fujiwaras around it...almost like Jan 27, 2015.

Please pardon my ignorance in advance.... my only real model knowledge is what I've read on this forum in the last 14 years. In your post are you referring to the low being off of Myrtle Beach, SC on the NAM vs Morehead City, NC on the Euro? I was playing with Pivotal and am wondering if this is what you are referring to. (~130 miles west longitudinally)
