I can kind of see it there, but I have no idea what that is using for a base layer. I've just been trying to go by Wunderground obs to see if they are verifying in some way.

The CAD is just starting to push along the the TN/NC border. So the next 2 hours we should see that occur. I'm at 30.9/18.6 and am supposed to be dead center that cold streak in Unicoi/Erwin.

2 inches of snow down. Have now switched to heavy sleet with a few flakes.

Moderate ZR in Apison. 29 degrees. Isn't freezing to the roads, but is to the elevated stuff.

Camp Creek currently has northerly light winds. Places near Cedar Creek are reporting gusts to around 20mph from the southeast. This is what would expect when the downslope wind is essentially blocked at Camp Creek and southeasterly winds are spilling into southwestern Greene County through the gap.  Would expect CC winds to turn SE and increase as the LLJ lifts farther north.

Rain and 29 degrees in Halls.  Very minor icing on vehicles and driveway, roads are just wet.  I doubt we have any real problems here unless the surface temps move in the opposite direction from the models.

I do not know if it means anything, but I do not see a single Weather underground station down the valley over 32. The one I saw at 32 was in Athens most are 28 29.

I'm surprised they aren't icing at 29 degrees.

I should have clarified that I'm only observing the roads in my neighborhood; haven't driven around.
