I see down in northern VA, they've introduced sleet mix  into the Sunday forecast (NWS).  What are the current thoughts on where any ip/zr reaches?  Still south of NYC?  I *think* so,

6z GEFS has a bunch of members that hang back with stronger lows. So although snow amounts look lower earlier they bump up from the longer duration overall.

Southern areas will want the north trend with the primary to stop to maximize totals with any secondary development. Otherwise it's a flip to rain and dryslot after the good thump. GFS on the other hand is great, though little confidence it's correct

Not too often that you see San Antonio and Presque Isle have extreme cold watches at the same time...with a nearly solid wall of winter weather alerts in between.

I wouldn’t be hugely surprised if extreme SRI and SE MA (Cape/Islands/Mattapoisett) get some sleet

Was thinking a few weeks ago it’s been years since we’ve been able to have that night before the storm buzz - a couple drinks - a nexrad screen and watching the echoes roll in.
