Also just because the sleet line reaches the city that does not mean the accumulation ends. Sleet snow mix will still accumulate just slower.

Blend the nam with the colder models and thats where the mixing gets too.

meh. i'm not a sleet fan. the only time i like a sleet storm is during a ratter winter when nothing much else has happened. other than that i don't wanna see it.

I also think if it’s heavier echoes snow or sleet can win out might be a battle

True in that case it would get kind of far north but I would imagine on the northern edge of the mixing it won't affect much.

GFS looked a little better I thought. Still wonky/weird snow map due to bad resolution. Anyway from here I wouldn't use it anymore.

it is bitter out. just moved the cars off the street as the town requires in snow, put wipers up....i busted one last storm. flipped them on by instinct and cursed myself immediately. filled gas tank for blower and the tank had a leak, now i have to get the smell out of the car somehow. going great so far....i do have an arsenal of boots and gloves though. had to dust some stuff off...

NYC/I-80/LI aren't getting 12" from this as much as I want it to happen. Just not the type of storm where it happens. Hopefully White Plains/coastal CT still can.

RGEM is literally 10 miles if that from giving north shore 14-16 inches North shore might do well
