Easiest way to spot fellow weather weenies in the neighborhood is to find the good weather stations, I've found.

Whenever it snows a ton Amtrak is a complete disaster. They either cancel the trains outright or they get delayed for an obscenely long time.

Amtrak randomly cancels trains when it's sunny and 75 out.  We some how have a passenger rail system worse than most developing countries.

Yep, I’m in. I work in Arlington but easy to metro into the city if want something there or stay along orange line in Arlington if easier.

I found another fellow weather nerd in chemistry class today. we talked about severe wx ingredients while we finished our periodic table and electron configuration lab today. he has his own FB weather page.

I went back to community college and we are aiming for the same degree (meteorology) after we transfer

We've come a long way. I can remember being either the only DE poster, or one of 2-3. I think we might be up above 5 now? I know there is one other Sussex County alumni.

I’d go to the upstairs bar portion, which is not all that classy. Nobody would turn you away. I wouldn’t come in covered in dirt but you’ll be fine.

I took the Acela every week for nearly 4 years. It's not Japan-esque but it sure as hell beats driving up/down 95. New ones are pretty slick too.

I would just have to like step-out if I got a work related call but should be able to make it work. I’ll call the place ahead of time and see if they have wifi I can connect to.
