Congratulations! May your baby be perfectly healthy and wish your wife a healthy recovery. My son was just born this past Dec 5th, and we drove through the snowfall to get there… on untreated roads. Was fun if not a bit nerve wracking, but no major logistical issues.

Thank you, and congrats to you as well! I hope your wife and your son (and you!) are doing well and starting to settle into a routine now.

It was slippery out that day and the next morning. Always interesting to see which roads get attention and which don't.

What an epic birthday among the MA snowfall lore! Poor kid is going to be a giant weenie like his Dad :snowman: congrats to you and your wife.

What happened then? It's been mentioned a few times but I'm not sure what the premise was for that storm.

Remember it like yesterday. Storm over GA was supposed to go east ots, but radar showed the blob moving north. Weatherman was just repeating the ots miss line with the radar looping right behind him, and I was yelling at the TV imploring the guy to turn around and LOOK. “It’s gonna snow” I told my parents, they didn’t believe me. Look on their faces when they woke up seeing us blanketed with white… priceless. I ended up with 11” or so.

Op run at this range, its literally noise. Upper level evolution is as impressive as it was last run. Need to see a stronger/more consistent signal on the ens mean in the next few runs. Ultimately it will be what it will be.

Fwiw gefs is more “diggy” for the jan 15 storm
