The overlook at Black Rock is one of the finer ones I've seen around here.  It's a bit of a slog to go that extra distance from the base past Annapolis Rock, but kinda worth it, if time isn't a thing.

I think 1-2" is reasonable here...I'm a mile west of rt 15 which, given how this area is, means I'm basically east of rt 15 lol.  The top of Catoctin might be a winter wonderland, though.  That area just absolutely dominates in these marginal events.

We need a 20ish mile shift south. I also hate being on the southern edge. I feel like I’ve seen this movie before and it’s a dusting at best before a flip.

I can vouch for this. Coming over the Catoctins from Smithsburg to Thurmont daily for work it's a different world above 1500. There's been rain on both sides of the mountain with several inches of accumulating snow in the Catoctins on many occasions over the years.

Ouch, definitely a slight northwest trend lately that is gradually eating away at what little snow 95 might get. Latest Euro is basically just a few flakes for many of us.

 I gotta move , lol  my sister in Rayville,Md (northern Baltimore county)always gets a little  more snow then me here in eastern Baltimore county .  My jealousy will get me to move up there lol.. of course with my luck if I move up there then southern parts will get more lol
