Yeah part of me wonders how ptype issues would translate. But a low that far south usually wouldn’t be bad 925-850.

There was a lot of low level E flow before and during that first wave of precip. I assume you’d have to be well into Jan to overcome that? A lot of the precip yesterday would’ve been low level stuff too…maybe saved by some salt nuclei? Of course there may have been a stronger high if it was winter as well. So I guess it’s all a moot point.

Far out but I think either way there's going to be a big end of the month storm.. lots of fun on the ensembles for that time period.

Yeah I've been looking, it's still a very coarse signal out of the Carib. I don't care if it impacts here, but let's see some impacts!

You'll see it.

Had snow OTG in 2011 but it was in low 40’s and melting . Have never had it snow on that day . For whatever reason that first 8-9 day period of Nov in history almost always is mild . So it’s a very low chance. But if I look at progs this year.. can see how it’s not a zero chance . Normally it is

Yeah all a what if game. I’m sure there would have been a mix to start for awhile as that high was just a bit east.

Let's hope for a Sandy/Hazel hybrid that turns to 2' of snow for us!

Thats kind of what I’m envisioning. Hence “very low” chance .But the pattern progged does allow for something wild potentially

Low chance here (or near zero/none realistically) but decent U.S. chance (s) perhaps? there remains plenty 'o ohc to go around, untouched carib. <3
