I haven't seen any out here tonight. I was out burning brush that I've been saving for a rainy night. We had a good clip of snow , sleet and gruple Sunday afternoon that you should have got in on. We also had couple of snow flurries flying around a few nights prior.

I just woke up right as this was ending here and have a half inch on the ground and slushy roads. Def a bit of a surprise as it was only supposed to be maybe a rain/snow mix here at best. Can see snow or snowing on the 511 cams down to at least Mifflintown.

At any rate on the board with the first measurable of the new season here.

Yup. Snowing in Tamaqua and Hazleton. I had a hell of a ride just to get to the truck. Quarter sized flakes and a Jeep with recessed LED lights meant that they caked up with snow.

I got the "star wars" effect, but I couldn't see the road worth a damn...

Temp has been rock steady at 39 since midnight, to go along with .42” of rain. Can anyone from my area confirm that the precip started as sleet, or at least a mix of sleet and rain, last evening? I went to bed early and it sure sounded like pingers for the opening 15 minutes or so. Also, in things that interest only me, my temp dropped an additional two degrees yesterday morning after I left the house, down to 29 from the 31 I reported. Carry on.

In Camp hill I heard pingers at the start then when I woke up to them at 430. Radar looked almost like a mesolow

We saw a pretty evenly distributed amount of rain overnight with most spots receiving between 0.30" to 0.35" of rain. Today’s temperatures will remain below normal in the middle 40's with mostly cloudy skies. We stay mainly cloudy and chilly through tomorrow before we warm to above normal on Friday and not too far from normal temperatures to start Thanksgiving week. From this distance Turkey Day looks to be warmer than normal but that will likely change to a colder than normal pattern during Thanksgiving Weekend and as we move toward December. Our next chance of rain looks to it will arrive Friday night into Saturday morning.

While a 92 degree difference is impressive, the national (and world) record for 24 hour temperature change IN ONE LOCATION is 103 degrees in Loma, Montana.  Temp went from -54 to 49 on January 14/15 1972.

I can confirm that it was all rain in Maytown. If there was anything else it was exceptionally brief and or a random pellet or two. 

Received a very beneficial .49" of rain, much of it fell between 11:00PM and 12:45AM. Like you, my temp was 39 throughout.

I was up in State College early this morning, and it was a general 1-2” or so up there. A legitimate plowable snowfall in some parts of town and the surrounding area up there. Good thing this didn’t occur a few hours later than it did, as P-Dot was able to get on it before the morning rush.

My brother had pingers reported yesterday afternoon in southern Lebanon.
