BBasile Posted yesterday at 02:23 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:23 PM August ended with 1.99" of rain. Kicked off September with a low of 55F this morning. Models don't look too optimistic for rainfall to start this month. Lets hope this fall doesn't end up like the last one with monster wildfires. BBasile Posted yesterday at 03:58 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:58 PM The sun is a bit active today. Space weather has been more exciting than Earth weather.

Mikeymac5306
Not much to yak about. Even the tropics are fairly quiet. Need the rain though. Go Birds!
ChescoWx
13 of the 19 current Chester County stations recorded their driest August on record. Of note those stations have less years with data. That said on average it appears this to be the 3rd driest August since 1893 across our fair county. The driest such months occurred in 1896 and 1943.
