Now we're starting to add to that a little bit with some steady light to moderate rain and I'm up to 0.15" for the day so far. To me it appears I'm not going to get too much rain today. Maybe we end up with a quarter inch, just barely enough to water the garden. I was hoping for more significant rain today. Yep we lucked out in our area too..run of mill stuff and anything that comes overnight will be light. Not sure why you wanted a deluge..a fine line from 0 to 3 inches
jm1220
North Shore will probably get skunked. The boundary the storms are following was pushed south by the Douglaston and Smithtown storms so now they are favoring the south shore. Some thunder here and light rain, maybe it picks up to moderate for a while.

Not a drop here
Picard
0.00" Nothing is getting here and it won't at this point. Stiff breeze and running 68-69 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. Feels quite raw actually and a great day for backyard football. Sucks for the flood prone areas again. I'd happy take an inch off your hands. As it stands, I'll be out watering like crazy tonight since I held off last night given the prediction.
guinness77
Transit alert for you: Port Wash branch suspended and Clearview and CI both shut down and LIE at Springfield Blvd. I don’t have the pix, but the water is completely above the 3rd rail at Bayside station.

I would have liked a couple heavy downpours to deliver a half inch to 1 inch to give everything out there a very good watering, instead of just a quarter inch. It's very dry here because we've gotten almost no rain since that flooding 2 and half weeks ago. But a quarter inch is a better than nothing ... I'll take it. Temp is all the way down to 72 too. I'll be going outside to run shortly and it will be nice to run in rain cooled air.

Totally over the 3rd rail.
