They not only let everyone back in it after having a 6-11 game lead on those same teams respectively, but they allowed every bandwagon Sox fan who bailed on their team a month ago , a soapbox to stand upon 1

I’ve said from day one before season started . Sox were 2nd best team in the East and would make postseason . It’s possible they win the East if Yanks don’t right the ship

Morrisville-Stowe ASOS... +5.2 Montpelier ASOS... +4.9 Saint Johnsbury ASOS... +4.8 Burlington ASOS... +3.1 Getting +3 to +5 in the peak warm season months is absolutely crazy. Winter has higher variance so you can get the +/- 5s or whatever, but summer variance used to be 1-2 degrees from normal and that's it.

They have been fun to watch, but it’s so effing frustrating how the FO keeps them chained up in John Henry’s basement. Just need something to help build around because they obviously have a good young core. 1
powderfreak
One thing I've noticed is the deer flies have been absolutely relentless up here. We used to not really have them or at least they weren't this ferocious. I remember when I moved up here thinking, wow this is really nice compared to say the woods/hills of northern CT in Woodstock where they would eat you alive. Now you go hiking and the whole time you are getting buzzed by deer flies. It feels like the CT Hill climate of 15 years ago, ha.

I won't lie, I always put you more in the ORH climate relatively to normal than BOS. Or at least as much as some of the other area posters in that zone of SNE. I'll have to look up where Southborough is again relative to like 495. I guess you aren't at 1,000ft and you aren't on the ocean, so split the difference between the two sites? Never a dull moment so far with this team in terms of emotions. From smashing the TV to flying high while enjoying mid-summer baseball. We'll be smashing things again soon, but a fun ride right now. W MA has had a lot of precipitation at the wrong times the past few years but our dry periods have timed well with regard to stinging/biting insects. This year there are more mean pests than the past few but my Vermont friends have been chirping loudly about them the past few weeks.

dendrite
BDL has 2 days BN this month and that's with the sensor fixed. ORH and CON both with only 3. CON had a min of 49F one day and the day was only a -4F . That goes to show how hard it is to get BN these days.
