Ya but average highs are mid 80s for most now so a 10 degree difference heat index is meh.

Most Advisories are meh.  WWA for 3” of snow in January or February?

I don’t care enough anymore, haha, except it does look like it hit the definition for numerous sites.

Sooo most haven't reached it

For Boston, a Heat Advisory is typically issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Boston when the heat index is forecast to reach 100-104°F (37.8-40°C) for two or more hours, or 95-99°F for two or more consecutive days. This indicates dangerous heat conditions where heat-related illnesses are possible, according to the NWS.

Kind of a wimpy heat advisory though. 96 hi? That's your average summer day in Florida.

there were 99s earlier for a couple of hours around metro west and typical town square regions that heat well...

I mean what? you're giving me a 96 in 'portions of north CT ?   what are we,  cats with our heads jammed in paper bags thinking that's the whole world and we're safe in there -

The heat indexes across the headlined area solidly verified based upon empirical data and HI formula ...

Can we move on ?
