I don’t know about any of you. But this is by far the highest heat index I’ve ever had (and feels it too) and tied for the highest temp of all time at my station. 95.4 with dews in the low 80s. It’s unbearable I can’t last more than a few minutes out there today.

Heading to the field now, daughter 2 hours of cheer and son two hours of baseball I don’t know how they are going to last…

I notice car thermo will be higher with engine heat contamination. Like that 109 earlier ...lol...I was idling for 5 minutes with no breeze. If you are cruising on I93 it should not be wildly high, maybe a few degrees.

Also when you first start the car up if it's been sitting in the sun.

Niece found us a free swimming circular pool (15’ x 4’) on Facebook marketplace a few months back. Chilling in the pool with an ice cold Budweiser…what a day. Can’t wait to do it again tomorrow.

Are you nude with your friend's father?  Seems like you should reciprocate his hospitality from the hot tub days.

Yeah man, I don’t recall going over 82° dew on my VP2 or having a heat index over 120. Today is probably an all timer.

Same. I just went for a walk in Newton and it's still 96 with a real feel of 109. WTF

Sorry for the delayed response, just a little too much unfolding.
House goes under contract. Inspection failed, contract withdrawn.
Close to foreclosure, vehicle just as close to repo...

SAD but true. I'm literally going to be on the street soon.
I have lost everything with no solution.

Don, DM me if it comes to that....

I remember Making a post last month saying all the ACATT enjoying all the rain.. when the pattern flips dews will be off the charts or something like that  . Today was surreal

They told us mid 60s dews at most.

The weather station I installed many years ago broke both its all time high from 7/22/11 today and it's all time heat index, crazily from 9/13/13.

101.7 for a high.  High dp was 79 but 74.5 at peak temps.

Not saying it's right, but on a relative basis that's impressive for a station that was set up nearly 20 years ago

Is that passive or aspirated? Same sensors?

It's a Davis vantage pro 2, so yes, aspirated and radiation shield.    But the issue is the siting sucks, scientifically speaking.  In order to provide physical security at UMass we elected to put it on the edge a low rooftop.  It's not black tar, but it runs a little hot from the surroundings, and UMass is a pit as it is.
