Ger/Swiss/Austrian/Italian alps are amazing, best place I've ever traveled to by far. Spent most of 3 weeks there. highly recommended, a good bit of English is spoken esp. the touristy spots, plus you can practice a variety of languages!

Yeah I agree. A really amazing country with probably some of the happiest and most laid back people of any European Country. The flight attendant on my Air Swiss flight was fluent in like 6 languages.

On my ski trip, we did Aosta Valley, Chamonix and Zermatt. Fell in love with Aosta Valley. Beautiful valley with middle age ruins and vineyards. Friends are mountain biking there next month. I've been thinking of going back at some point and renting an apartment for a few months. By car, you can hit 15 or so ski areas within 90 minutes or less.

That’s where my sister lives. My favorite area in the Alps. Sud Tyrol (Alto Adige) is a bit more upscale but there’s something more authentic about the Aosta Valley - and I love the stone and wood architecture. So scenic. Every year that we go back we lean more and more towards the Alps and less toward the coast. The Italian coastline is gorgeous but sooooo crowded it’s become unpleasant unless you go off season.

So glad he got to do his final show!

Hits hard at the lost though!

What an amazing way to go out!
That day was a fitting tribute to a hard rock icon.

I was surprised at how well he performed and by the time Sabbath was playing Paranoid, they were absolutely rolling. Geezer was wailing and even Bill Ward was holding his own.

After 4 years braving the frozen wasteland of upstate NY, and the tropical island of Manhattan, I am returning to Boston to join the fight against KBOS snowfall observations. Excited to be providing a new data point from just south of the Pru to help give a more accurate understanding of just how much snow actually fell in Boston
