The warmer models (NAM) popping up the suggestion of sleet bombs scares me. Sleet is up the totem pole from snow for how much I despise clearing it away. Clearing it away sucks but give me six inches of snow with two inches of sleet on top and it's all good. Will have a snowpack through January. Most of the usual suspects and the usual newcomers when it snows have their typical meltdowns. I had someone call me stupid for even suggesting the possibility of sleet at some point 50 miles north of the city where I am. I'm not sure I'll ever recover.

I had a house full yesterday and was busy enjoying that, did look at much model stiff or help monitor the posters coming out of the woodwork, as is tradition before a snowstorm. Anyway, I would think we will at least see some flakes before 6pm.

As the ‘before’ photo of my postage stamps delusional 36 inch snow gauge shows ….. my inner city, UHI blessed, ocean hugging location is ready. If I’m still here, I’ll post the after photo tomorrow. As always …..
