Where on Rt.4 is that?  We are going to Lake George tomorrow and may need to change routes.

I don’t know, I saw they got RT 4 open one lane only. I don’t even know if those shots are from RT 4 but the headline was about it and subsequent photos were those.

You’ve said it before… high dew points in the mountains can lead to a lot of water with the daily tropical downpours.  Today’s storms started firing by 11am.

It’s primed overall and some areas are gonna be smoked. Killington is as good as any place.

What was the area that had severe flooding from Irene

The jackpot for Irene was SW VT to S Central VT and E ‘Dacks.

Berkshire and Franklin County‘s in Massachusetts got hit pretty good with total QPF but not as bad as the aforementioned areas.

Blecchh!  Back in the late 50s/early 60s, our small (50 acres) lake in NNJ would reach temps like that in the upper 4-5 feet.  I'd swim behind the diving dock, take a couple deep breaths and head for bottom, only 11-12 feet away but where the water was upper 70s.  Might get a minute or so of nice cooling before needing air.
(There was a reason my sometimes nickname was "turtle".)
Some impressive echoes heading our way - or heading just to the north.
Was that Round Valley in NJ?

An absolute gem of a morning run. 5 miler in sweet swamp ness. 71.6/70.. with a very fine mist falling to add to the ambiance. The sweat started immediately. The bogs and bayous of Louisiana, the streams and swamps of South Georgia, they’ve come to us . Summer in all its beauty. Enjoy it folks

Like sweat through your ass crack, these are the dews of our lives.

Hello dewpoints , my old friend.. we are thankful you’ve come to visit us again..streaming sweat softly creeping.. down Ray’s asscrack , it is gleaming.

The warmth on the models written on Ray’s walls……sweat dripping down his balls…..and whispered……the sound of sweating.
