Let's do a snowy march! February broke the stretch of getting buried so maybe March can break the stretch of being zzzz

Outside of Morch it has been a while since March has been anything exciting around here.  April's have been more fun!!!

Models really want to wind something up the first week of March.  Only 8 more days to go before it turns into a shell of its original self and someone gets 6" or less.

They're getting excited in new england for multiple threats. And southern ne has had a far worse Winter than us. Every subforum has your crowd of "it's been a bad Winter so it's not going to snow in March" and some of them are gonna be dead wrong.

Just posted about that in the medium/long range thread. Trying to reel it in for us. It's probably our last hope before "spring".

I'm willing to jump on that bandwagon if I can be assured of a hard flip come April 1st.

Just light snow now as the system winds down here. Wind blew the snow around quite a bit, but 6" (closer to 7' depending how long light snows last) looks to be a fair assessment. 12" between here and Duluth was reported. That was fun to watch. NWS Duluth had advisory out for me, but I emailed them a couple obs reports, and they upped to warning. It was pretty bad there for a while.

True torch today.

Indianapolis has officially made it to a record busting 76° as of 330 pm.

Maybe more impressive: this is just the 4th date in recorded history that we've gotten to 75° or warmer this early in the year. Other dates: 77° 2/20/2018, 76° 2/25/2000 & 75° 2/11/1999.
