Hey, stop fighting. People feel how they feel and that’s okay. People can disagree with those feelings and that’s okay too. Let’s all be nicer to each other over it. We are all suffering in our ways right now and honestly this cold wind is bullshit so I feel the pain. but it’s okay for those who don’t mind it too...

be well, friends.

When I was outside today, it felt like living somewhere else. Snow this morning, cold wind, out for a country drive this afternoon and empty roads...

It felt like being away without being away.

You were imagining Florida

Right now the gfs op is suppressed. Given it’s extreme cold bias not shocking. Im not kidding that I expect at some point it will come around and tease us with some epic ridiculous snowy solution before it realizes its mid April.

It’s hard to fathom getting NAM’ed in mid April.  We are headed for a cliff soon.  But this is a welcomed break from the real world.

If this survives as a threat long enough to get NAM’d that’s a win imo.

Good to see some decent rains in the forecast. After a very wet end to the month of March, only 0.40" of rain here for April so far. My well drained soil has gotten quite dry with all the wind and not much rain.

What? Weather? How can you all be talking weather when we have a crisis on our hands. I tell you, some people.

I think I am all corona'd out lol. I am living a life of isolation but getting lots of outside stuff done, and keeping an eye on the latest virus news/trends. Things are generally looking better, but it is going to be a slow process.

Kind of find it an intellectual study at this point. Does that make me a bad person considering that it is effecting  so many at a personal level?

As far as the virus, I prepared for the worst hoping for the better. Right now it looks as if the better scenario will win out barring any major surprises.

Yeah it is interesting, and presents an opportunity to learn.

So before we derail this thread, what was your low temp this morning?

Weather? Who has time for that?

But to answer your question, I have no idea, never checked. But just for you I will run out now and see what it is. ;)

Looking at 39 at this time. One would maybe guess a low a degree or 2 lower? But considering we now have about 90% cloud coverage it really depends on when that moved in overnight? Low could have been reached well before sun break.

Yeah the low of 36 here was just before sunrise. Seems the combo of light winds and some clouds kept most places above freezing.
