This is the best look we’ve had all winter within 5 days. A good warning event would go a long way on easing the pain of this winter.

Sure would! It's been since December 18 that we have had enough snow to pull out the sleds. It's been a rough stretch

Euro was a close miss, it has the storm just a little too warm.

Northern mountains and the smokies actually fair well.

Yeah, it has an elevation dependent look to it for sure.  It would work out okay for me and Joe, but I'd rather everyone got in on it.  We shall see.

Don’t fret over the euro. As we seen the last system, the euro has until the day of at 12Z to get it correct.

Also the CMC has passed the GFS in skill percentage and isn't to far behind the EURO

I'm looking at this weekend less optimistically than I normally would, I've got a gut feeling the potential NWFS on the backside of the front will not live up to the current hype, and that little Sunday system just doesn't excite me at all at this juncture. We will see what happens the next couple of days though, but secure everything you might worry about floating away, if you haven't already.

Good looking overnight ensembles for some of you guys. Man, I hope y’all rake in on some snow! Ensembles have seemed to keep improving for this one unlike the previous two weekends.

The last time the mtns were projected to get more than us here in the foothills....

Needs to dig deeper for us to get anything but the surface looks warm as of now for those east of the mtns.
