So, IMBY it's currently 34.2/13 @ 1036.8 mb = 27.8 WB.  Now, that will get you some ice accretion with light ZR!  Freeze on contact and no runoff.

The 00Z 3K NAM was putting out quite the ZR-fest in my neck of the woods...

0.64" overnight.

Not sure we're going to get the additional 1/4" - 1/2" they're calling for.

Man from around 530 or 6 until 8 it just dumped here in pitt county. Plenty of poor drainage flooding ongoing.

Back down into the teens again this morning.... 19 degrees here. Could bottom out with another degree or two. Some big temp swings this past week.

It was colder here last night (23) than what is currently being forecast for the super polar vortex coldness of next week (low of 25 Tue, Wed, Thu nights)

At 4:00pm; 29 at AVL after some snow (must be nice), 52 at GSP after some rain! Guess there's a front somewhere?

Looking at the next couple days in the upstate;  Low 22, High 44, Low 22, High 42, Low 27, High 52... meh, very run of the mill cold front for this time of the year. PV just not making it far enough south.
