Had freezing rain/sleet up the Palisades Pkway from Spring Valley to Bear Mountain.  Halfway up RT 9D it turned to light snow then tapered off to dry roads from RT 9 to Fishkill/Dutchess County with flurries/light snow.  30 - 32 on the car thermometer all the way up.

In Nyack?  Wow, must be snow in Spring Valley then....  yep, my camera shows snow coming down on our deck...

Yep the transition started right after my first post, almost all snow now, with the layer of ice underneath. Side roads all covered.

I think heavier rates are to attribute as well... as soon as Orange and rockland/NNJ got into those heavier Dbz... the snow line plummeted south

I think we're about 98% snow now. Uh oh.

Uh oh in what sense? Positive bust? Can tell you we had a pretty good cold tuck up here. Significantly colder than modeling suggested. South coast down to you folks may surprise.
