The general theme for next week is closer to normal, but that's primarily because the warm front could get hung up just to our South. I would favor the warm front making it further North, as progressive has been the seasonal trend, so even though the guidance might say 40's for the early part of next week, Southern NJ should be pushing 60 again, so the warmth will be very close. No real cold shot on the table until around March 8th where the GFS has highs in the 20's for NYC.

We are getting the standard mid-May pattern right now in February where the North Shore is ahead of the South Shore by 20 degrees and into the 70's

Could this mean sea breeze season ends early this year? ;-)

First (of many prob) 21st Century February 70+ readings for Central Park.  Impressive.

I can't wait to see the first 80 in February lol.

The general predictions are that by 2060 what we consider our hottest summers now will be our average summers by then.
