CENTRAL PARK YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 81 WHICH WAS

PREVIOUSLY SET IN 2013.

LAGUARDIA NY YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 82 WHICH WAS

PREVIOUSLY SET IN 2013.

PREVIOUSLY SET IN 2013.

July 21st is the date with the most times it reached 100...the 104 in 1977 was brutal...as a kid I remember the 100 degree day in 1957...1930 was a second year el nino that was strong during the winter of 30-31...

That July 13th to 21st had to be one our greatest heatwaves in the middle of an average temperature summer.

It was impressive how all the major summer heat was packed into 9 days. Those were the good old days

when Central Park could be a leader on the hottest days of the summer. NYC...104...EWR...102...LGA...99.
