Damage In Tolland
Will you go down to the gas station to buy bags of ice to preserve the pack? Do you think you'll rake up the brown leaves that you posted a pic of you snowblowing last week?

powderfreak
I'll be too far south and west hopefully. Yeah it shouldn't get near you down there. BTV is the place that's screwed...they were 35F -RN at 10am, and and now they've dropped into the 20s with ZR and NW winds. If they already start accumulating ice today, it's over once the real moisture moves in.

Brian5671
Could be worse. Rewind 2 years ago when we were in an endless torch with no hope. We had one week of winter in Jan and then it was really off to the races...basically a carbon copy of 2001-02. SKi MRG was spinning that it wasn't so bad while LL was basking in the glory of the warmth and tilling his soil in January and Roger Smith nailed that one

ORH_wxman
Snowpack doing well at work. White Chrisad a lock here I think. I think it will be key if there is period of CAD north of the pike on Sunday...even if it is like a 35F rain. That would halt the melting quite a bit. If it stays 54/54 with fog/rain, then its gone. But this stuff is currently bulletproof...so it will have a shot if the worst of it on Sunday can be avoided for all but a few hours. 47/29 softens it up and the constant dripping is audible, but its a pretty slow melt at those dewpoints. Its the 54/54 stuff that is just a total snow eater.
