Probably had about 2-2.5" before the changeover to freezing rain here, so things ended up pretty much being on schedule with that. But the front end snow was still more than I was originally thinking thanks to the early WAA snows. Now to see how much ice we end up with.

Our township must not have gotten the memo about the winter weather today. Cars have gotten stuck on the road by my house multiple times today and the first truck finally just went by not too long ago. It's been snowcovered since about midnight last night or so... better late than never I guess.

Snow really picking up now with bigger flakes.

Bigger flakes = Changeover soon?

It's always a downer when the huge flakes arrive. That means the warm air aloft is causing them to partly melt and stick together. You know the sleet is right at your door when that happens. Remember that clearly happening in State College for the Valentine's Day 2007 storm.
