STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN TOLLAND... NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON... SOUTHERN WORCESTER... WESTERN KENT... WESTERN PROVIDENCE AND WINDHAM COUNTIES...

AT 454 PM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM PLAINFIELD TO STERLING... OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM PLAINFIELD TO 10 MILES EAST OF PLAINFIELD... AND MOVING NORTH AT 10 MPH.

PEOPLE IN EASTERN TOLLAND... NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON... SOUTHERN WORCESTER... WESTERN KENT... WESTERN PROVIDENCE AND WINDHAM COUNTIES... INCLUDING STERLING... PLAINFIELD... CANTERBURY... FOSTER... DANIELSON... BROOKLYN... KILLINGLY AND HAMPTON... SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER SITUATION CLOSELY.

SMALL HAIL IS EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS. IN ADDITION... VERY HEAVY RAIN... WITH RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR... IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. THIS COULD CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS... AND MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

house is shaking, and I brought my girlfriend home about 20 minutes ago so it's gotta be the thunder.

you work that fast do ya?

haha

anyway, this stuff is developing along the virtual boundary that separates those that enjoyed warm quasi-summery conditions earlier in the day from those that spent yet another day being butt banged by this cut-off POS.

tomorrow should be more unilaterally involving with the convection.

How have the people in Australia fared, seeing that it is already the tomorrow.

Today: clouds giving way to sunshine. Scattered afternoon thunderstorms. High near 70.Tonight: partly cloudy. Slight chance of an evening thunderstorm, otherwise, patchy fog late. Low around 55.Tomorrow: Patchy fog early, otherwise partly sunny with scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Some storms may contain small hail and gusty winds. High near 73.Saturday night: Evening showers and thunderstorms ending. Clearing late. Patchy fog. Low near 50.Sunday: A bright ball of firey incondenscent gas the size of the Near asteroid hurls at the Earth at 50 times the speed of a rifle shot - THE END.Sunday night: Fire and brimstone ending late, remaining over-cast and breezy. Warmer. Lows around 2,498 degrees. Winds variable up to sonic speeds. Monday: Cloudy and hot with occasional hurricane force winds. There is an isolated chance for a magnitude 9.9 Earth quake that unilaterally shocks the mantle of the planet, sending us on a crust-displacement ride. Monday night. Winds subsiding but remaining uncomfortably warm. Low around 745Tuesday. Rapid cooling as nuclear winter ensues.

Really beautiful cell, TCU setting up to my SW. I was in Petersham (near the Quabbin) for a baseball game and we heard a few growls of thunder. Then on the ride home I watched as the top of the cloud punched upward and some sort of ther cloud formed above it, curving as it went over.

Very cool

BOX radar is sort of working it appears
