9.3" in the last 6 hours at Moline. That makes a storm total of 16.5" putting it ahead of January 1971 for 2nd all time! :thumbsup:

1.9" more needed to tie the all time storm total snowfall (January 1979).

Good news. I was starting to wonder about my observational ability there for awhile with all the relative low totals being reported. I haven't done an official measurement yet, but I'll do a thorough one late tonight or early tomorrow morning. All I know is we're over a foot easily.

BTW, uploading a new vid to youtube. Will post when it's done.

I have yet to give the NWS a measurement - I know how to measure snow - but I don't think I could give an accurate measurement - no idea

Ditto. I haven't bothered going outside in this nasty stuff. I usually send in frequent reports, but when it's windy like this I have a difficult time getting a decent measurement, even in my relatively enclosed backyard. When I go out to blow the driveway in the morning I'll give the measurement a shot.

Wow about 2"/hr rates for 6 straight hours and counting.. This has truly been epic..

20" might still be possilbe..
