  3. I dont venture to many other subforums. Im rooting for you guys. We just had 12+ here so its somebody elses turn.
  4. As the day's get longer the cold gets stronger
  5. Yeah, that down slopping sucks. We need this thing to shift more.
  6. I hate May and June.. once we get towards the end of July I know we turned the corner
  7. How much is Mayberry getting ?
  8. Miss it and you guys Heated bubbles must be nice
  9. Yeah not what I want to see. Hopefully it reverses some in the next runs. We had a storm back in early Dec that had me tee’d up only to end up booking off to the east and crushing Newfoundland. Could see that happen again. We’ll see.
  10. That is an excellent point concerning the skew of the 15 analog means by the 2 "outliers". It would be very interesting to be able to produce a map that does show the top 15 w/out the 2 "outliers"...but that is above my pay grade!
  11. That affects this much of the forum in such a signifigant way? 15-20 years
  12. lol I get the sun angle spin. it's essentially the same as June solar max compared July 28th into early August. You notice the days getting shorter and even morning lows slowly on the downward, however the opposite
  13. I knew it. I’ll probably get a dusting while everybody else gets over a foot.
  14. I have family in Raleigh. This is a once a decade storm for them
  15. I believe the lowest average temperature in the northeast U.S. is around Feb 5th long-term. That is where the temperature cycle begins to reverse. Of course the solar angle cycle reverses shortly after the winter solstice in late December but as people are saying there is little perceptible influence on potential melt factor until mid-Feb. Late Feb rises faster than Jan declines which is why Jan averages are a bit lower than Feb averages for most locations (Feb means can be lowest for locations with more maritime influence).
  16. Thats why I refresh at 3am.. usually know by the post.. if there's a bunch I look at models first if not I read the disappointment
  17. I’m out of town. My wife says streets are good but lots of sidewalks are untouched.
  18. SR, yes. Incidentally, I noticed that the car was indeed kinda warm when I got back to it. Oh, and the skiing was awesome.
  19. There’s a tremendous amount of hand wringing from some camps due to the op GFS . If you toss that .. things looking good for accumulating snow at worst
  20. When will the radar start showing my dusting?
  21. This will drive ChescoWx nuts. He'll whip out 5 different spreadsheets in a jiffy to prove this guy wrong... Today, from the Fox29 facebook page: 10F @ 6pm
  22. How often do you guys get a storm of this magnitude down south?
