  1. Past hour
  2. 0.32” from the event. Not bad
  3. Last May began very dry then turned quite wet and stayed wet until early August when rain stopped. El Nino suggests a possible reversal this year. I expect exceptional drought labeling later this morning.
  4. They’re everywhere. You’d think the turkeys would eat some of those f’ers.
  5. Had some thunderstorms overnight on the Cape too.
  6. Agree. Just swallow a shot shotgun.
  7. Alpha gal syndrome escaping the islands and getting statewide is a real concern. Imagine being allergic to meat and dairy you may as well take me out behind the barn and put me out of my misery. .
  8. Isn't there a rule at NWS to be very, very conservative when predicting rain during a drought?
  9. Frost/freeze threat here Sat Am
  10. Little on the low end here with 0.40” total so far but hopeful for more this morning
  11. Bike to school day for the kiddos. Tv Mets said rain on the cape only before 5am. Certainly missed this call. Lots of wet bikers . .
  12. You are the best. Thank you I posted in Jan I would be happy with 56 more inches of snow to finish. I received 58
  13. Sat morning looks dry at least. Afternoon ruined 70’s and sun for mom’s and Uconn graduation.
  14. About half an inch of rain. Looks like one more batch to come through
  15. Another day, another forecast bust by the pros. Local mesonet says 0.01". I got more than that in my yard but still not enough to even soak through the leaf layer on the ground.
  16. Saturday rain screws me. New pool installation scheduled
  17. WTF did you roll in a deer bed?
  18. .45 raining still. May flowers.
  19. I forget what it's like to have a rainy day where we get like 1.50". It's been since last fall if I remember correctly. All we get these days is a shower or sprinkles.
  20. A while ago I linked a report that concluded that solar+batteries were becoming cost competitive in sunny locations for 24-hour a day firm power. Here's another report with the same findings. Solar/batteries are competitive now and will only become cheaper in the future. https://www.irena.org/Publications/2026/May/24-7-renewables-The-economics-of-firm-solar-and-wind
  21. Was a very rainy and foggy morning up the mountain. Sent from my SM-G998U using Tapatalk
  22. A nice moderate to steady rainfall this morning. Lot's of water of the road this morning.
  23. Last night’s storm took away some of the sting of another paltry event. Total of 0.32” yesterday.
  24. Paul Kocin has said that he is working on a 3rd volume of Northeast Snowstorms. Does anyone have any updates on when the book will be released?
