I can vouch for this as well. Northeastern AA Co especially due to the orientation of the Severn / Magothy Rivers. The same goes for places such as Middle River up to Aberdeen with southerly winds. Edit: It's 87/78/100 at 11pm in College Park with SW winds coming from the DC Heat Island... Blehhhhhhh

Just spent 3 hours outdoors at a World Cup watch party. Despite sitting all that time I’m completely drenched in sweat. This humidity is no joke.

I don't count March for winter - its not only a Spring month, but transitional out of the most dominant ENSO period (Nov-Feb) to the period when it matters way less (May-Aug).

They apparently got slammed with severe t'storms too afterwards...

Well, I guess I’ll stay up another half hour to see how this line plays out.

My PWS at home registered a high of 101.2 F today. When I left work at 5:30, my sun-baked car thermometer parked on blacktop registered 105 F. When I parked in the full shade at church this evening, I remained in the car for about ten minutes until 6:00. The car thermometer held firm at 99F, all that time, in full shade.
